Mining Financial Model & Valuation is a course that teaches you how to build and analyze a financial model to value a mining company or project. You will learn how to use Excel to input data from a feasibility study, project the future cash flows and returns of the investment, and perform a discounted cash flow (DCF) valuation. You will also learn how to use various valuation methods and metrics, such as net asset value (NAV), price-to-net asset value (P/NAV), price-to-cash flow (P/CF), enterprise value-to-resource (EV/Resource), and total acquisition cost (TAC). You will also learn how to create sensitivity analysis and output charts to illustrate the investment opportunity and the risks involved.
Eligibilities
Has no prerequisites, but it is recommended for those who have completed the Financial Planning & Wealth Management Certificate Program.
